Some Simple Troubleshooting for Combined Cold Storages

Inevitably, some minor malfunctions will occur during the use of cold storage. If we can simply handle some simple troubleshooting by ourselves, we can eliminate the malfunctions of the cold storage in the shortest time and thus reduce losses.
- For the units in the initial operation stage of cold storage equipment: Frequently observe the oil level, oil return condition and the cleanliness of the oil of the compressor. If the oil is dirty or the oil level drops, it should be solved in a timely manner to avoid poor lubrication.
- The combined cold storage does not cool or has a poor cooling effect. Check whether the condenser of the refrigeration unit is dirty. Check whether the frost on the evaporator inside the cold storage is too thick. Check whether the refrigerant leaks (apply soapy water to the pipeline connections, and if bubbles are generated, it indicates that the refrigerant leaks). And ask the combined cold storage engineering personnel to replenish the refrigerant and deal with the leakage points.
Check whether the seal of the combined cold storage door is intact and fix it if there is a problem. Check whether the refrigeration unit of the combined cold storage is working. Check whether the parameter settings of the computer controller of the cold storage are correct and reinstall the combined cold storage door. Check whether the controller of the cold storage fails and replace it if necessary. Check whether there is enough clearance among the items stacked inside the cold storage and clear it if not. - Frequently observe the operating state of the compressor, which is the heart of the cold storage equipment, and check its exhaust temperature. During the operation in different seasons, pay special attention to the operating state of the system and adjust the liquid supply amount and condensation temperature of the system in a timely manner.
- The combined cold storage door starts frequently, does not start for a long time, keeps running without stopping for a long time, or stops before the cold storage temperature reaches the set value.
(1) Check whether there is dirt on the condenser. Poor heat dissipation will lead to excessive condensation pressure of the refrigeration unit.
To protect the compressor, the machine will stop running under the action of the pressure controller. After the heat dissipation becomes good, press the black reset button on the pressure controller, and the machine can automatically resume operation.
(2) The parameter settings of the controller are incorrect. Just reset them.
(3) The refrigeration effect is poor. Please refer to Fault 2.
(4) The temperature control fails.
(5) The electrical appliances are damaged. - Usually, we should observe the operating state of the compressor by observing the changes of instruments, listening to the sound of the machine running, and feeling the temperature changes of the machine. If phenomena such as gas leakage of the compressor are found, it should be repaired or replaced in a timely manner.
- The lighting inside the cold storage does not work. Please check whether the switch fails and whether the light bulb is damaged. Cut off the power supply when checking. Pay attention to the waterproofing of the light when installing the lampshade.
- The combined cold storage door does not close tightly. Please adjust the spacing between the hinges and locks on the cold storage door and the cold storage body.
- We should carry out regular maintenance and daily upkeep to maintain the high efficiency of the compressor's operation.
