- Confirm where you want to build your cold storage? Several factors that should be considered in cold storage site selection:
(1) Convenient transportation - convenient for transporting goods.
(2) Surrounding environment - there is an excellent sanitary environment, no pollution, and a good sewage outlet.
(3) Terrain area - save land, do not occupy farmland, and it is best to be flat land.
(4) Water source - cold storage uses a lot of water, so ensure sufficient water source.
(5) Power source - there needs to be a very reliable and stable power source to ensure normal operation of the air-conditioned storage site selection.
If it is an air-conditioned storage, it should also be selected near the place of origin.
If it is not too far away, otherwise logistics transportation will affect the storage effect.
- What are the dimensions (length, width, and height) of the cold storage construction, so as to confirm the standard dimensions of the warehouse door and the opening direction of the door. The construction of cold storage buildings generally starts at room temperature from construction to equipment installation, and the structural system is also in a normal temperature state; after the cold storage is put into use, its structural system is in a low temperature environment.
- Cold storage refrigeration method.
Generally, in the north, the climate is relatively cold and it is easy to freeze. Moreover, the underground water quality is relatively hard and it is easy to block the water-cooled pipeline. It is not suitable to choose the water-cooled refrigeration method.

The air-cooled temperature cannot exceed 45°C, so if the climate is too hot, it is not suitable to use the air-cooled refrigeration method.
Evaporative cooling is a combination of air cooling and water cooling, and is generally suitable for larger cold storages. Considering these objective reasons and the local environment, select a refrigeration method.
